Device Transfer is the process to transfer your account information from one phone to another phone, or to recover your account information in case something happened to your phone.

Why should we?

But with Device Transfer, you can link your account to a code and recover it any time and in any other devices, allowing you to continue your game progress.

How to do it

Step 1: Issue a Transfer Number

Go to My Room and select the menu Issue Transfer Number (scroll down first). Refer to the image below with the red square.


Step 2: Enter Your Password


Step 3: Get the Transfer Number

Copy the generated Transfer Number labelled within the yellow square (by clicking the Copy button, labelled with red square) and store it somewhere else (Email, notebook, etc).


Step 4: Enter the Data Transfer Menu

This step can only be done when you are ready to initiate the transfer.

Start the FGO application. In the title screen, the option Data Transfer should be found at the bottom-left corner of the screen (marked with red square). Click it.


Step 5: Fill in Transfer Number and Password

Put the Transfer Number on the top field, and the Password on the bottom field.


Once this is done, your data have been successfully restored or transferred to your new device.


Experience or EXP cards for short are the essential material required to level your servants as they do not get any EXP for themselves by completing battles, only Bond Points. Levelling your servants is a very important aspect in the game as it increases their base HP and attack, which are necessary if you want to complete the harder stages within the game.

Card types

There are eight type of EXP cards in the game currently, one for each of the seven main classes and the eighth type is for every class. Feeding the same EXP card to servants of the same class will give a bonus of around 1.3x experience (27,000 > 32,400 EXP), so if you have quite a few Extra classes servants such as Ruler or Avenger, you might want to save some of your all classes EXP cards for them as they do not get the bonus from the seven main classes EXP cards.

Card level

EXP cards are classified from 1 star to 4 stars but generally you would only be feeding the 4 stars EXP cards to your servants as it provides triple the experience compared to the 3 stars ones, making it the more QP efficient way to level your servants.

Author

Before anything else, I highly advice everyone to bind their accounts and keep the code somewhere safe which only you can access (it could be in Drive, Notes, Google Docs, or send it to yourself on Facebook) and someplace that you will not lose. You can also save screenshots and save it to External Memory or Cloud Storage.

STEPS TO BINDING YOUR ACCOUNT

Tap Device Transfer (引き継ぎナンバー発行) in My Room.

Type in your password (must be alphanumeric and be at least 4-12 characters in length) and repeat the same password at the second box for confirmation.

You will get a transfer code. Copy it to your clipboard by clicking or tapping Copy (コピー) and then click click Close (閉じる). The right button, 新規で発行する, is for issuing a new code.

You can now use the code to transfer the account to a new device or for future use.

To transfer to another device

Access the game on your new installation or new device. Click Device Transfer button on the bottom-left (引き継ぎ) and input transfer code on the first box and the password on the second box.

Transfer code and password has no expiration unless used. After the transfer is complete, your old device will no longer be able to access your account. Create a new transfer code after use.

Transfer code can only be used once.

You cannot transfer one server to another (say, JP to NA)

STEPS FOR ACCOUNT RECOVERY (JP)

Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required to be filled

This form is genuine. There are no scams or anything and is effective. Based on my experience, my account was recovered within 3 days.

Fill out the Recovery Form. It is absolutely necessary that you respond to questions in Japanese. You can use Google Translator (for short answers) or ask a friend who knows Japanese to help you. You can also use the Fate/Grand Order wikia for the names in Japanese.

Details of your Support Setup. List the servants, skill levels, NP levels, ATK and HP stats, and Craft Essence equipped, if possible.

Recovery Email Translation:

・ユーザーID: Your user ID (xxx,xxx,xxx)

・ユーザー名(マスター名): Master name / Player name / In game name.
